Our advice is if you are being bullied online then don’t reply to them. Stop the chat or delete them as a “friend” on your social networking account and don’t reply to any emails or postings. Remember if you block them then they wont know – at their end it will look like you are not online and not available to chat – while you are free to get on and have fun without their threats.

Put simply don’t give the bully the attention they want. They want to think that they are making you worried or concerned.. They will want you to fight back with them direct. Well don’t. Block them and delete them and if you want keep copies of what they send you – showing them to a trusted adult will help that person quickly understand what you are facing. You are not alone. Please don’t put up with bullying. Use the help we have given you above or visit thinkuknow.co.uk – our own website for young people just like you – if you want more help on this or any other concern you have online.
